On-Site Maintenance ServicesIf your company is within our service area, UMT can repair your equipment on-site. Service can be established through a maintenance contract (covering the repair of your equipment by charging a monthly flat rate) or on a Time & Materials (T&M) basis. Our T&M service rates are based upon your location.Maintenance ContractsThis service provides the customer with full on-site repair coverage of your computer equipment. The maintenance contract can be set up with a 4-hour, 8-hour, or 24-hour response time. All parts, labor, and travel will be included. This program also allows remedial and preventive maintenance, as per the manufacturers' specifications.Time & Materials ServiceThis service provides "on-demand" response to problems on-site, with a set hourly rate plus the cost of parts. Rates are dependent upon the location of the customer and the time of service. Technicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This service carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labor.Service AreaUMT serves the metropolitan Peoria area, within a radius of 50. This area is split into zones, reflecting chargeable Time & Materials rates.Zone 1: locations within a 10-mile radius of Peoria, including Peoria, East Peoria, Peoria Heights, Bartonville & Dunlap. $75/hour. No charge for travel. Zone 2: locations 10 - 20 miles from Peoria, including Pekin, Morton, Washington, Chillicothe & Brimfield. $75/hour. Travel time is considered chargeable. Zone 3: locations 20 - 50 miles from Peoria, including Bloomington, Normal, Roanoke, Henry, Princeville, Galesburg, Canton & Lincoln. $85/hour. Travel time is considered chargeable. Terms & ConditionsService ProvidedUniversal Micro Computer Service (UMT) agrees to provide on-site electronic repair and parts replacement for terminals, keyboards, printers, and additional computer equipment (hereafter collectively referred to as "items") on the terms and conditions provided below.. Repair ChargesUMT hourly rates are based on the location of the customer, as can be seen in the above defined "Service Area." There is a two-hour minimum charge on all service calls, plus the cost of all parts used.· PaymentTerms are COD, except where a satisfactory open account has been established, in which case terms are net upon receipt of the invoice. Master Card, VISA, and Discover Cards are accepted.WarrantyUMT warrantees all repairs against defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the original repair date. The warranty will be void if the equipment has been subjected to unusual physical or electrical stress, or has been tampered with by the customer or a third party without the prior consent of UMT. UMT will, if available, provide repair for such items on a best-effort basis at its current T&M rates. | |
